A Message to Students and Parents

Over my 25 year career in academics, I have developed a strong passion for experiential and heuristic learning. I cannot think of a better way to teach students about the design of water and wastewater systems than to have them participate in the process firsthand. I am also passionate about teaching students the importance of understanding the societal context within which civil engineers design and build infrastructure. I have specifically created this course to provide students these opportunities that I believe are greatly enhanced in a study abroad program.”
