Hello! My name is Vittoria Lee, and I am a third year Communications major with a minor in Economics.
I was raised in Hong Kong, and my family and I moved to the United States when I was 10. Growing up, I had the opportunity to travel to and explore different countries and cities in Asia. I have also been fortunate enough to travel to Europe. In the summer of 2019, I went back to Hong Kong to complete an internship. While there, I pushed myself out of my comfort zone, experienced a new work culture and immersed myself in a fast-paced, city lifestyle. Although I faced challenges due to my extremely rusty Cantonese, I connected more deeply with my culture, and now hold an even greater sense of pride for the city in which I grew up in.
My experiences abroad have undoubtedly played a major role in who I am today, in the way I interact with others and perceive the world. I am so grateful for the irreplaceable experiences and new perspectives that I have gained throughout my travels.
Traveling abroad will leave you with countless memories and valuable lessons which cannot be learned elsewhere. Studying abroad is such a unique and eye-opening experience, and I truly encourage everyone to embrace these opportunities. I hope to assist you throughout this journey and in achieving your study abroad goals!
