The "Revolutionary Cuba" program fees include various charges for tuition and accommodations, excluding airfare and personal expenses, while financial aid may be available for eligible students.
The program includes pre-departure and on-site orientations, requires students to arrange their own travel, provides local transportation, and offers guidance on visas, insurance, and resources for international and LGBTQIA+ travelers.
Students in this study abroad program will spend the first three weeks in shared rooms at a local guest house in Havana, followed by ten days in hotels while traveling to Trinidad, Santa Clara, and Santiago de Cuba, with most meals provided during the stay.
UC Davis Summer Abroad Cuba offers students the opportunity to earn units over the summer through immersive coursework, enhanced by local excursions, guest lectures and reflective assignments.
