American Womens Club’s Jessie Lokrantz ScholarshipAllYear-longOpen to both male and female U.S. citizens studying in Sweden for at least a year. Scholarship amounts vary but generally the award is sufficient to cover a round-trip economy class ticket between the U.S. and Sweden. 
The Ashley Soule Conroy Foundation ScholarshipAllSemester, Year-longApplicants must be planning to participate in a full time study abroad program for at least 1 semester (no shorter than 14 weeks). Additionally, applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have financial need. Award amount: $4,000.
Barry Goldwater Scholarship AllYear-longTo be considered for a nomination, the student must be a sophomore or junior undergraduate pursuing a degree in math, natural sciences, or engineering. Students planning on studying medicine may apply if they plan to pursue research. Must have a college grade-point average of at least "B" (or the equivalent) and be in the upper fourth of his or her class. Must be a U.S. citizen, a permanent resident, or a U.S. national.
Bridging Scholarships UCEAP, QASemester or Year100 Scholarships awarded for studying in Japan. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and must be enrolled as undergraduates in a college or university in the United States before and during the time they are studying abroad. Bridging Scholarship recipients receive a stipend of $2,500 (for students on semester-long programs) or $4,000 (for students on academic year programs). Summer programs are not eligible to apply.

Churchill Foundation ScholarshipMaster's programYear-longThe Churchill Scholarship provides funding to American students for a year of Master’s study in science, mathematics, and engineering at the University of Cambridge, based at Churchill College.
CIEE ScholarshipAllAllThree different available scholarships of varying amounts up to $2,000. Awards are made based on personal statements from student applicants and financial need, based on economic profile and estimated family contribution (EFC). 
Consulate-General of Japan AllAllFor students studying in Japan. Applicants must hold U.S. citizenship and must be willing to learn the Japanese language and receive a university education in Japanese or conduct research. 
Cultural Vistas FellowshipInternshipSummerFellowship for summer internship. Must be U.S. citizen enrolled full-time at four-year college/university, sophomore or junior academic status at the time of application, minimum GPA of 3.0, and prior knowledge of language of host country (for Germany and Argentina). Strong preference will be given to applicants of historically underrepresented groups in international exchange. No formal prior work or study abroad experiences. 
DAAD Germany ScholarshipsAllYear-longCurrent second and third year students, planning to study in Germany during their third or four year are encouraged to apply. Must demonstrate an interest in contemporary German and European affairs and can explain the significance of their project in Germany to their future studies, research, or professional goals. The academic merit of the individual, the feasibility and quality of the proposal, and the impact of the applicant and application as a whole are all considered. Scholarships may be granted for a minimum of four months (one semester) and a maximum of ten months (one academic year).  Recipients will be awarded a monthly stipend of approximately € 650, plus additional funds to help defray travel and research expenses as well as health insurance. 
David Boren ScholarshipMin 8 weeksSummer, Semester, YearPreference for countries, languages, and fields of study critical to U.S. national security, academic year programs,and students demonstrating desire to work for the federal government. Summer-only programs must be eight (8) weeks or more and are limited to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) students. Up to $8,000 for summer program; up to $10,000 semester; up to $20,000 full academic year. Recipients of a Boren Scholarship must accept a Service Requirement to work for the federal government in the national security arena.

Paul Duttenhaver Extension Scholars Program UCEAPYear-longAvailable for EAP students who extend from a quarter or semester to spend a full year abroad in one country. Six awards of $2,500 will be disbursed based on academic performance and financial need. 
Freeman-ASIAAllAllThe Freeman-ASIA program is designed to support U.S.-based undergraduates with demonstrated financial need who are planning to study abroad in East or Southeast Asia. The program’s goal is to increase the number of U.S. citizens and permanent residents with first-hand exposure to and understanding of Asia and its peoples and cultures. 
Fulbright ScholarshipAllAllThrough the Institute of International Education. For study, research, or teaching abroad. Applications are to ONE specific country. If you already have more than one semester of study in a country, you are not eligible to apply to that country. Open to US citizens who will have a bachelor’s degree by the beginning date of the grant, but will not yet have a doctoral degree. Open to candidates thinking of studying, assistant-teaching English, or conducting research abroad.
Gilman International ScholarshipAllMinimum 3 weeksMust be receiving a Federal Pell Grant or proof that student will be receiving Pell Grant.  Preference for students from diverse ethnic backgrounds, students with high financial need, with disabilities, or studying in non-traditional countries or in fields of study underrepresented in study abroad. Over 2,700 scholarships of up to $5,000 are available. Award amounts will vary depending on the length of study and student need with the average award being approximately $4,000 for fall and spring programs, and $3,000 for summer programs. 
Go Overseas Study and Intern Abroad ProgramAllAllGo Overseas offers a bi-annual scholarship to students who are planning on studying or interning abroad. Applicants must submit a photo essay and quick survey to enter. The award of $500, to go to any part of your study or intern abroad trip, is given to the most creative entrant. 
Hispanic Scholarship FundAllAllLimited to Hispanic students attending U.S. universities. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Scholarship award amounts range from $500-$5,000. The average award amount is $2,500. These funds may be used to study abroad if the student remains enrolled in a U.S. university, the program occurs during the normal academic year, and the student will be receiving U.S. college credit towards his/her degree.

Marshall ScholarshipAll1, 2, or 3 yearsCandidates who have the potential to excel as scholars, as leaders and as contributors to improve UK-US understanding. Be citizens of the US. By the time they take up their scholarship in September 2018 hold their first undergraduate degree from an accredited four-year college or university of the US. Need a 3.7 GPA.
National Directory for Latino YouthAllAllCHCI's scholarship opportunities are afforded to Latino students in the United States who have a history of performing public service-oriented activities in their communities and who demonstrate a desire to continue their civic engagement in the future. There is no GPA or academic major requirement. Students with excellent leadership potential are encouraged to apply.
National Science Foundation AllAllFunds research and education in fields of science and engineering.  
National Security Educational Scholarships (NSEP)AllAllScholarships to support U.S. undergraduate students participating in study abroad programs in world regions critical to US interests (including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America & the Caribbean, and the Middle East), in exchange for a commitment to seek work in the federal government. National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) ScholarshipsAllSemester or SummerVarious scholarships awarded to help students attain their goals and commend them for their outstanding academic excellence as well as their leadership and service achievements.  Must have at least a 3.4 GPA. Must be an NSCS member to apply.
Phi Kappa Phi ScholarshipsAllAllSeventy-five $1,000 grants are awarded each year to help support undergraduates as they seek knowledge and experience in their academic fields by studying abroad. Applicants must attend an institution with an active Phi Kappa Phi chapter.
Rhodes ScholarshipAllAllFor study at Oxford University, UK. Applicants must have impressive grades and leadership experience.   Applicants must be U.S. citizens between 18 and 24 years of age. They must be sufficiently academically advanced to assure completion of a bachelor's degree before October 1 in the year following selection. 
Rotary InternationalAllAllScholarships for promising students focused on sustainable change. Scholarships can range from short-term studies in a community to a graduate degree program abroad. 
Sara's Wish ScholarshipAllAllProvides financial support for females performing humanitarian work abroad. Scholarships are awarded to applicants who exhibit qualities of leadership, service, and adventure. Only previous award recipients can apply.   
The Smart Student GuideAllAllVaried. In general, scholarships are awarded to students with special qualifications, such as academic, athletic, or artistic talent. Scholarships are also available to students who are interested in particular fields of study, who are members of underrepresented groups, or who live in certain areas of the country or who have financial need. 
Tortuga Backpacks Study Abroad ScholarshipAllFall, SpringTo be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a full time student in good academic standing, and have been accepted into a study abroad program. As far as residency requirements, you don't have to necessarily be a resident of the U.S., but you must at least be studying in the U.S. on a student visa. Award amount: $1000. 
UC Davis International Relations ScholarshipAllAllScholarships are $500-$1,000 per student and multiple scholarships are awarded each year. Applicants must be full time UCD IR majors in good academic standing with at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must have been selected to an eligible study abroad or unpaid internship program in order to receive the scholarship.
