Each UC Davis Summer Abroad Internship program pairs UC Davis Study Abroad with a partner organization that manages the personalized internship placements; arranges accommodations and excursions; leads onsite orientations and optional social events; and provides 24/7 emergency support. As part of the placement process for Summer Internships, participants will first enroll through UC Davis Study Abroad and then complete a supplemental application for the partner organization associated with their particular Summer Internship program.

Immigrant and Refugee Health Internships in California

UC Davis Summer Abroad Internships is an academic program that aims to enhance students’ education by incorporating academic coursework with experiential learning outside of the classroom setting. This program carries a total of 6.00* quarter units in five weeks. 

Summer Internships in Hawaii - Cost

The UC Davis Holistic Healing Summer Abroad program covers accommodations, meals, transportation, cultural excursions, and 24/7 support, with additional estimated expenses for personal travel, airfare, and incidentals.

Summer Internships in Hawaii - Travel

The UC Davis Holistic Healing Summer Abroad program provides pre-departure and on-site orientations, and students arrange their own travel. U.S. citizens need a valid ID, ideally a REAL-ID by October 2020, while non-U.S. citizens should check entry requirements and consult with an advisor if on an F-1 or J-1 visa. GeoBlue Global Health and UC Traveler insurance cover participants throughout the program.
