Summer Internships in Ghana - Cost

The Pediatric Care and Reproductive Health program allows eligible students to use financial aid for summer internships, with fees covering accommodation, meals, and excursions but excluding airfare and personal expenses, while estimates for total costs are provided for planning.

The Pediatric Care and Reproductive Health program includes accommodations in local homes or dorm-style lodging with meals provided, features excursions like city tours and hospital visits during orientation, and addresses the unique health challenges faced by children in Ghana, while emphasizing the importance of understanding the risks associated with living abroad.

Summer Internships in Ghana - Instructor

Dr. Elisabeth Lore holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from UC Davis, specializing in French, Caribbean, Chicanx, and multilingual literatures. Her current research explores Mediating Literature, a genre focused on negotiating relationships between conflicting cultures, particularly those shaped by immigration.
