Summer Abroad Iceland - Cost

The Thermodynamics in the Land of Ice and Fire program offers financial aid options for eligible students. The program fees, which are subject to change and exclude airfare, cover lodging in Viking-themed cabins, daily meals (breakfast and dinner), transportation for all excursions—including a week-long trip around Iceland—and entrance fees for activities, along with GeoBlue health insurance. Students should be aware of additional personal expenses and out-of-pocket costs not included in the program fees.

The "Design in Europe" program includes a pre-departure orientation and on-site orientation, requires participants to arrange their own travel while providing support through a Program Specific Guide, mandates entry requirements such as valid passports for U.S. and non-U.S. citizens, includes GeoBlue Global Health Insurance, and offers resources for LGBTQIA+ travelers, while emphasizing the importance of understanding visa requirements and cultural contexts prior to departure.
