Fee Notes
- UC Davis Course Fee and Campus Fee posted here are estimates based on currently approved amounts. These figures may not be final. Actual tuition, fees, and charges are subject to change by the Regents of the University of California and could be affected by State funding reductions. Accordingly, final approved levels (and thus a student's final balance due) may differ from the amounts shown. UC Davis Tuition and Fees are different for Graduate and nonresident students. Campus policy dictates that study abroad and other off-campus programs are not exempt from the UC Davis Summer Campus Fee, which covers services/initiatives such as the Student Health Center, Counseling and Psychological Services, Unitrans, Recreation, etc. Students have access to these services during the entire special summer session period.
Program Fees include
- Lodging in shared rooms in a dormitory (Paris), a hotel (Dijon and Marseille), and a youth hostel (Nice)
- Breakfast and dinner daily in Paris, breakfast daily in Dijon and Nice, and welcome and farewell dinners
- Transportation to all field trips (see syllabus), a metro pass in Paris, and travel from Paris to Dijon, Nice and Marseille
- Entrance fees to all field trips (see syllabus)
- Travel guide for France
- GeoBlue health insurance
Expenses not covered by program fees
- Estimated personal expenses outlined in the table above
- Personal travel during and outside of program dates
- Entertainment expenses including alcoholic beverages and personal purchases
- Out-of-pocket expenses for medical and other emergencies
- Uncovered medical expenses for special needs
