The study abroad program includes pre-departure and on-site orientations, requires students to arrange their own travel, provides visa guidance (none required for U.S. citizens), and offers insurance and additional resources for international and LGBTQIA+ travelers.
The program fees cover accommodations, breakfast, some group meals, transportation for excursions, museum/site entrance fees, and health insurance, while students are responsible for airfare, most meals, personal travel, and other personal expenses.
Students will stay in centrally located, air-conditioned hotels, with breakfast provided, and will visit significant historical sites across Greece, including UNESCO World Heritage Sites, during the program’s excursions.
UC Davis Summer Abroad Greece offers students the opportunity to earn units over the summer through immersive coursework, enhanced by local excursions, guest lectures and reflective assignments.
