Marketing Your Global Experiences for the Job Search
Learn how to translate your global experiences for employers through resumes, cover letters, and job interviews. In this workshop, we’ll help you articulate the skills you’ve learned from global experiences and then communicate them effectively throughout your job search. If you’ve studied abroad, completed an international internship, participated in an on-campus opportunity with our global community, or had any other experience with a global aspect, this workshop is for you.

Engaging with the Sustainable Development Goals as a UC Davis Student
>Want to be part of creating a more sustainable future? Join the UC Davis SDG Interns and the Global Learning Hub to learn more about the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how you can pursue and support the goals as a UC Davis student. This workshop will offer a general overview of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and SDGs and provide information on the many programs offered by Global Affairs for students to engage with the SDGs.

APRU Open Dialogues: From Classroom to Career- Evolving Skills to Lead Across Cultures
This virtual workshop is offered through the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU). This APRU Open Dialogue explores the evolving role of “soft skills” in preparing university graduates for success in a globalized, multicultural, and increasingly changing labor market. It will also examine a (perceived) gap between university education and workplace
demands.

Global Grad & Postdoc Career Skills Series and Certificate
Build the communication, leadership, and intercultural skills needed to thrive in today’s globally connected workplace. This workshop series helps graduate and professional students and postdoctoral scholars explore inclusive collaboration, intercultural communication, global leadership, and career development across academic, public, and private-sector settings. Participants can choose individual workshops or complete a series track and earn a certificate by completing five workshops, gaining practical skills, new perspectives, and connections with experts across UC Davis.

GoinGlobal-Student Training
Discover how to use GoinGlobal to explore international and domestic career opportunities and prepare for a global job search. In this hands-on training, students will learn how to navigate millions of job and internship postings, research employers, and use country and city career guides for insights on workplace culture, networking, resumes, interviews, and more! Participants will also explore tools that can help identify opportunities aligned with their career goals and interests. This resource and training is exclusive to UC Davis students and you must register using your UC Davis email.
