UC Davis Global Learning Fair

The fair features global leadership opportunities, study abroad programs, global internships, post-graduate global opportunities, funding for global learning programs and more. Global Pathfinders: Charting a Path to Global Learning

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Participate in this small cohort-based First Year Seminar/First Year Aggie Connection to learn about all the resources and programs offered by the Global Learning Hub and to explore and develop key global and intercultural skills necessary for a global workforce.

Global Affairs United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Internship

This internship provides an opportunity for UC Davis undergraduate students to actively contribute to campus engagement on the SDGs, gaining knowledge of organizational strategy, campus and external coordination, and communications and analytical skills to support this global agenda. Deadline: September 16.

International House Davis: English Practice Partners Volunteer Opportunity

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Volunteer with the International House Davis English Practice Partner Program where you will be paired with international visitors within our community. Join for about an hour a week of English conversation practice. No English teaching experience necessary. Complete the volunteer form.

Competitions, Challenges, and Funding

Fulbright U.S. Student Program

This program offers annual awards for U.S. citizens who will have bachelor’s degrees by the 2024-25 academic year to conduct research, study or teach English in over 140 countries worldwide. Learn more about eligibility, timeline and requirements. Deadline: September 10.

Schwarzman Scholars

Receive a full scholarship for a one-year graduate program (M.A. in Global Affairs) at Schwarzman College of Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. Scholars will study and live at Schwarzman College and partake in a core curriculum focusing on public policy, economics and business or international relations. Deadline: September 12.

Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Graduate Fellowship

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​This fellowship aims to attract and prepare outstanding young people for careers in the Foreign Service of the U.S. Department of State in which they can help formulate, represent and implement U.S. foreign policy. Apply. Deadline: September 19.

Thomas R. Pickering Graduate Foreign Affairs Fellowship

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Graduate fellowships are available to qualified students committed to joining the foreign service. This fellowship helps finance two-year graduate programs, provides two summer internships, offers mentoring from a Foreign Service Officer and provides other professional development activities. Apply. Deadline: September 26.

China-U.S. Scholars Program Grants for Conference Participation and Research

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​This grant supports travel to conferences and research sites and is open to scholars and students in the arts, humanities and social sciences. Conference presentations and research travel should relate to China studies and/or China-U.S. relations. Deadline: October 31.

UC Davis Study Abroad Photo Contest

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The annual UC Davis Study Abroad Photo Contest recognizes and celebrates student photography taking place on the many study abroad programs offered throughout the year. The deadline to submit photos is in early fall quarter, but we encourage students to submit their favorite photos on a rolling basis as programs conclude. Top prizes (for all winners and finalists): gift cards ranging from $25-$200!
