Hi! My name is Jenna Townend, and I am a fourth-year International Relations student, double-minoring in Spanish and Human Rights. I grew up in Northern California and have always been fascinated by other cultures and societies, which led me to pursue international relations. I was fortunate enough to travel with my family growing up to places like Europe, Latin America, and more. I studied abroad in Madrid, Spain, in spring 2025 through UCEAP, where I learned a lot about adaptability and what it's like to study in another country. I learned so much about myself and the beauty in other countries. At UC Davis, I stay active in the Pre-Law Society, Women’s Club Soccer, and am a part of the Guayaki Ambassador Community. I am passionate about building connections across cultures and helping foster a more inclusive and globally connected community. I absolutely loved my study abroad experience and look forward to sharing it to help others!
