Hi, my name is Stella Baum!  I am currently a second year, majoring in Community and Regional Development and I was born and raised in San Diego, California. In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar, hanging out with my friends, going to the beach, and reading. I am involved in a few clubs on campus, including Runit Davis, an all-girls running club and I write for the Davis Period blog.

As for my travel experience, I have backpacked across five European countries and visited Vietnam and Mexico. Being from San Diego and growing up near the border has given me a cross-cultural perspective. These experiences have taught me so much about myself fueling my passion for travel and learning about other cultures. Inspired by my background, I’m focusing on global learning at UC Davis through the global communities track in my major, with aspirations for a global career.
