Program Spotlight: Language and Culture in Spain (UC Davis Quarter Abroad – Spring 2023)

Based in Madrid, students will take accelerated courses in Spanish language and culture, with planned activities and excursions to highlight Spain's incredible history and beautiful scenery. UC Davis Study Abroad Photo Contest

The annual UC Davis Study Abroad Photo Contest aims to recognize and celebrate student photography taking place on the many Study Abroad programs offered throughout the year through the Global Learning Hub. The deadline to submit photos is in early fall quarter, but we encourage students to submit their favorite photos on a rolling basis as summer programs conclude. Fulbright U.S. Student Program

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers 2,000+ annual awards for recipients to study, conduct independent research, or teach English in over 140 countries for up to one year. Pitching Peace Youth Music Challenge

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​To mark the fourth anniversary of Securing Our Common Future, the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs is launching the Pitching Peace Youth Music Challenge, inviting those ages 13–29 to express their passion for peace through music. Council on Foreign Relations’ Blavatnik and Robina Franklin Williams Internship Program

This internship program provides training in the field of foreign policy and international affairs through a variety of positions. Interns work alongside staff while gaining valuable experience through exposure to leading foreign policy experts. Internships are available in Fall 2022.

Virtual Student Federal Service Internships

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​September–May. Virtual interns are partnered with U.S. diplomatic posts and domestic federal offices to conduct digital diplomacy reflecting the realities of our networked world. Global Student Leadership Summit

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​October 5–6. The Global Student Leadership Summit (GSLS) registration is now open! GSLS will be held October 5-6 in San Francisco. It is the premier leadership conference for students interested in further developing skills related to global diversity, equity and inclusion. Early Bird Registration is open until August 12.

Global Inclusion 2022: 10th Annual Diversity Abroad Conference

Each year the Diversity Abroad community gathers at Global Inclusion to tackle the challenges and opportunities diversity, equity and inclusion present to the fields of global education and cultural exchange.
