Program Overview

As an intern, you might be working on projects related to: intergovernmental work to eradicate hunger and improve nutrition; governmental work involved in food relief, Ugandan health sector, or agricultural advisory services; or NGO work in development, relief, and advocacy across food and hunger projects. You’ll learn about and assess the challenges facing the public and private sectors in the production and provision of food and nutrition programs in Uganda, including aspects of agriculture, logistics, and climate change.

Prior to and during your internship, you will take part in a seminar course. The seminar starts with training modules to prepare and support you in your internship. Each week you will participate in reflection and discussion sessions, in addition to writing and presentation assignments.
