UN Sustainable Development Goals

It Starts with a SEED: SDG 8 at UC Davis

The United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development includes 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). SDG 8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth is a goal that encapsulates inclusivity and sustainability in relation to economic growth. The Redwood SEED Scholars Program at the University of California, Davis, aligns with SDG 8.

Graduate Student Opportunities

Global Learning Hub Programs

The Global Learning Hub offers a variety of programming that is accessible to graduate and professional students on campus, abroad and virtually.

Global Impact Fellows
The Global Impact Fellows program is a one-year commitment to leading or assisting a student-led community impact initiative that addresses a global+local challenge where students can hone project management, leadership and field-specific skills in a collaborative environment.

Aggie Compass Provides Resources to All

UC Davis’ actions toward promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on campus have become more apparent on a student level over the years as students find opportunities to contribute to addressing global challenges on a local level. One example of these actions is how student volunteers engage in the SDGs at the Aggie Basic Needs Center.
