Fee Notes

  • Some or all instruction for all or part of the Academic Year may be delivered remotely. Tuition and fees have been set regardless of the method of instruction and will not be refunded in the event instruction occurs remotely for any part of the Academic Year. Figures for tuition and fees represent currently approved or proposed amounts and may not be final. Actual tuition and fees are subject to change by the University of California as determined to be necessary or appropriate. Final approved tuition and fee levels may differ from the amounts presented. UC Davis Tuition and Fees are different for Graduate and non-resident students. Campus policy dictates that study abroad and other off-campus programs are not exempt from the UC Davis Summer Campus Fee, which covers services/initiatives such as Student Health and Counseling Services, Unitrans, Recreation, etc. Students have access to these services during the entire special summer session period.

Program Fees include

  • Lodging at all sites (homestays in Salamanca, Córdoba, and Sevilla; hotel stay in Toledo and Granada)
  • All meals, except dinner during the stays in Toledo and Granada
  • Transportation to all cities and for program field trips
  • Entrance fees and guided tours by regional specialists
  • Cultural activities and lessons by local educators

Expenses not covered by program fees

  • Estimated personal expenses outlined in the table above
  • Personal travel during and outside of program dates
  • Entertainment expenses including alcoholic beverages and personal purchases
  • Out-of-pocket expenses for medical and other emergencies
  • Expenses for special medical conditions
