Accommodations
During our program we will stay in a centrally located hostel in Paris. Our hostel includes multiple occupancy bedrooms, 24-hour security, wi-fi, meeting rooms, board games, linens and housekeeping.
Students arriving early or staying after the program will need to make their own housing arrangements.
UC Davis may have to change the accommodation location and type. Should this be necessary, we will arrange alternative lodging. Please note that elevators, air conditioners, WiFi and other conveniences may not be available in all locations.
Rooms for your program are same-gender only and may be shared with one or more students. You may request a roommate, and we will do our best to consider mutual requests when making housing assignments and/or sharing them with our program partners. However, please note that roommate requests cannot be guaranteed, as housing arrangements depend on availability and local accommodations.
Meals
Breakfast and dinner will be provided at our hostel. Lunch will be on your own. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please indicate them in your program application so that we may share them in advance with our on-site partners to allow them to plan meals.

Paris
The City of Love! You will live as a Parisian for a month, while exploring major historical and cultural sites, as well as lesser-known monuments and neighborhoods. Paris is the capital of France, but it is also a major European city for art, fashion, gastronomy. Whether you take the elevator (or the stairs!) to the top of the Eiffel Tower, ride a boat on the Seine, spend hours in museums or wander through the streets, you will be inevitably discover the beauty of Paris and of the French way of living. Mont Saint-Michel
Mont Saint-Michel is a tidal island, approximately one kilometer off the coast of France. The island and the surrounding bay became part of the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1979. It is recognized for its unique architecture, aesthetic and is a significant Catholic site. The monastic establishment on the island dates back to the 8th century. Lonely Planet – Mont Saint-Michel
Study Abroad Advisory of Student Risk
Participation in this UC Davis Study Abroad program requires travel to and extended living in a foreign location(s) abroad. UC Davis Study Abroad endeavors to reduce and mitigate risk wherever possible. However, the environments and risks associated with living in these locations are substantially different than those found during a regular course of study at UC Davis. All participants must download and review the following information prior to departure. Any questions should be directed to the Program Coordinator.
