Accommodations

You will be staying in single rooms within shared apartments in the university dorms. Every apartment has a fully equipped shared kitchens and living space. Self-service laundry, internet and other amenities are readily available onsite.

UC Davis reserves the right to change the accommodation location. Should this be necessary, we will arrange alternative lodging. Please note that elevators, air conditioners and other modern conveniences may not be available in all locations.

Meals

Five group meals will be included with the program but all other meals will be on your own. Day-to-day, you can prepare simple meals in your dorm kitchen, or find other options for meals including at on-campus eateries or other restaurants in Cork.

Excursions & Activities

Tentative excursions and activities may include:

  • Cork City Tour
  • Overnight trip to Dublin
  • Day trip to Cobh and Spike Island
  • Afternoon trip to Midleton
  • Visit to Kinsale and Tour of Charles Fort
  • Day trip to Country Clare and the Cliffs of Moher

Participation in this UC Davis Study Abroad program requires travel to and extended living in a foreign location(s) abroad. UC Davis Study Abroad endeavors to reduce and mitigate risk wherever possible.  However, the environments and risks associated with living in these locations are substantially different than those found during a regular course of study at UC Davis. All participants must download and review the following information prior to departure. Any questions should be directed to the Program Coordinator.
