Molecular & Cellular Biology
Jisoo Han is a lecturer and academic coordinator in the Molecular and Cellular Biology department. She mainly teaches MCB120L - Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Laboratory and provide administrative support to the MCB laboratory courses. As a lecturer, she focuses on improving instructional methods to create an inclusive classroom and teach critical thinking skills. As a academic coordinator, she spends a lot of her time modifying and improving laboratory manual and experiments used in the classroom.
A Message to Students and Parents
Japan was the first country I visited outside of my language comfort zone and it was a humbling experience and a reminder of how important language and culture play a role in our lives. Japan is a beautiful country with gorgeous landscapes, a wide range of experiences to explore, and amazing food! I am looking forward to returning to Japan next summer to learn more about Japanese culture, and to share this unforgettable experience with the students."
