Get to Know Your Destination
From Lonely Planet:
Say Nottinghamshire and people think of one thing – Robin Hood. Whether the hero woodsman ever really existed is hotly debated, but the county makes much of its connections to the outlaw from Locksley. Storytelling seems to be in Nottinghamshire’s blood – other local celebs include DH Lawrence, of Lady Chatterley’s Lover fame, and hedonist poet Lord Byron. The city of Nottingham is the bustling hub, but venture into the surrounding countryside and you’ll find a weather of historic towns and stately homes surrounding the green bower of Sherwood Forest.

Study Abroad Advisory of Student Risk
Participation in this UC Davis Study Abroad program requires travel to and extended living in a foreign location(s) abroad. UC Davis Study Abroad endeavors to reduce and mitigate risk wherever possible. However, the environments and risks associated with living in these locations are substantially different than those found during a regular course of study at UC Davis. All participants must download and review the following information prior to departure. Any questions should be directed to the Program Coordinator.
